Final Fantasy XIV
I got back to work editing the videos I had already recorded for FFXIV this week. As of today, I am fully caught up on editing! Just need to get episodes 202 and 203 out for Patrons and that'll be all caught up and good to go.
This coming week, I am getting back to recording on the main file! And, of course, we have yet another seasonal event incoming. It's just that time of year I guess.
Next Let's Play: Zero Escape 999
Finally, it's time to announce the next Let's Play! We're going to be playing through Zero Escape: 999 as voted for by Patrons! My metamour got me into this series a couple years back and I just tore through the series. It's all so, so good. It's exactly my type of nonsense in the best way possible.
This is my first Visual Novel LP, my first DS LP (yes, we are playing the DS release!), the first LP where I am trying basic (BASIC) motion graphics, and the first LP where I am putting active effort into voice acting. Saying it has been an interesting challenge is an... understatement, perhaps, but it's a challenge I have delighted in.
First episode comes out February 6th! I currently have the first 10 episodes recorded, I do not know how many episodes it will be, but you can probably expect around... 54 episodes or so is the current pace I seem to be on? A lengthy one for sure.
Miscellaneous
This week has been an interesting one. Lots of downs on the mental health front, but I'm getting better. I think I'm past the worst of it now.
For streams, last week I finished Mega Man 1 so this week I started Mega Man 2! It is so far FAR easier than Mega Man 1 which is... such a relief. But also it does seem that they over-corrected. As a reminder, you can catch those streams over on Twitch on Saturdays at 4pm UTC-8/PST!
As for other stream plans, I will be adding a second stream slot starting a few weeks from now. The game has been decided but I won't be announcing it quite yet. Those streams will be on Tuesdays at 3pm UTC-8/PST. I'll announce the game around the time I know when we'll be starting that, but there is a good chance I get impatient and start streaming it on January 31st.
On the FFXIV front for my main account, I'm keeping up with the weekly tomestone grind, I have just one last run of Abyssos 8 to get intermediate gear, and I'm still a few months away from having full Augmented Lunar Envoy gear. I've figured out the "correct" way to get through the 2.x crafters and gatherers so that's making good progress. I'm almost done with the ARR tribe quests. I would love to some day be fully caught up on... most everything. If I can do two expansions worth of content per... expansion I guess, then I should catch up eventually. And that shouldn't be too bad!
Finally, I'm planning on completely rearranging my room this week. Does this risk messing with my acoustics? Absolutely. Does it need to get done anyways? YES. AGH.
Coming Up
I'm getting back to recording FFXIV on the main file this week, including the upcoming Valentione's Day 2023 event!
I'm recording the fourth week of Zero Escape: 999 to be fully caught up with the buffer for that before it goes live!
