Hey all,

I'm not happy that I need to do this, but the job hunt continues to kick my ass. While I have enough money to make it a couple more months (I AM NOW OUT OF MONEY), support to help me get by until I am able to get a job is likely going to be necessary.

Current status: still need help. The bureaucracy of unemployment is hell. Full details on the unemployment situation below the cut/"read more". Also did not get the job I was in interviews for. For now, my bank account is at $950 thanks to y'all's generous support. By the end of March I need $850 for rent, $400 for private student loans (currently looking into how i can get these deferred), $100 for utilities, $250 to clear a medical bill I keep putting off. So like... $1600 total. I'm back on SNAP at least so food is less of an issue. But I do need $650 more to make it through the end of March/start of April.

I am still fighting bureaucracy to get on unemployment. In the meantime, mid-month bills have me needing about $200 to get through. Food is covered by SNAP now, but I have a utility bill to pay and a phone bill to pay and my private student loan to pay.

I need this job so bad or i'm done for. Or to get on unemployment finally. Third stage interview is on Monday. Wish me luck.

I'm not happy that I need to do this, but the job hunt continues to kick my ass. While I have enough money to make it a couple more months (I AM NOW OUT OF MONEY), support to help me get by until I am able to get a job is likely going to be necessary.

I recently had a meeting with the unemployment office, specifically the branch that helps with job searching. They informed me that the OED straight up lied to my face and I am eligible for unemployment. (They didn't say the OED lied, but they did tell me I am eligible, which does mean the OED lied to me).

So the good news is I can apply for unemployment. The bad news is bureaucracy! It'll take a bit!

The other bad news? Got hit with an unexpected bill. Currently have $319.38 in the bank, owe $370 towards private loans, $220 towards a medical bill, around $150 towards miscellaneous utilities (electricity, water, phone, internet). And then food costs of course.

Hopefully this is the last stretch. I have a live coding interview tomorrow. I am very hopeful that I get the job. Once unemployment is coming in I will be stable at least for a bit. Hopefully until I get a job.

ok current bank balance is $589.51
i owe about $330 or so for the private student loan for the month
i owe about $250 or so for the medical shit that insurance said "no" to, i'm gonna see if i can get that resolved and get insurance to reconsider
and end of the month i need $850 for rent
i'm going to try to start doing ubereats/doordash/etc delivery to earn money, but i can't drive so i have to do it on my bike and i'm not exactly in the best physical health
and in march i'm going to apply again to the bakery since that's when they start seasonal hiring

help. i really need help. fuck.
