I would love to see how a project manager functions in a post-capitalist world with UBI where work is not driven by deadlines defined by investors and management trying to make numbers go up as fast as possible. I think they'd still be an incredibly important role, just one that manages the work and scheduling of a team based on what is best for the project instead of what is demanded by management.
Judging the balance of how much time to allot based on what will produce the best work from someone is so much more interesting than trying to fit demanded work within however long your resources will last.
