I don't take public statements from corporations at face value but honestly I've seen enough shenanigans exposed about how vtubers interact with each other or contractors (which is understandable given that streaming as a whole is still a relatively young profession) that I don't take what talent says at face value either.
I wonder what a professional organization would look like for streaming? A union? Established standards for what work vtubers handle vs management? Having agents to represent vtubers like actors do?
