well yeah i’d have to come out to them. i honestly think i could come out to my dad as long as i explained enough but my mom… she doesn’t outright hate trans people but she complains about seeing pride flags in public and seeing them too much on twitter and basically anything that isn’t just them existing out of her sight. i have no idea how she’d react if i told her i was trans but it would not be acceptance

Also, I just try to be supportive in general, especially for younger folk like you. Someone's gotta look out for "the kids these days" like they didn't for me, and it sure as frick isn't going to be the parents
