I think there's a lot of unexplored potential in the SM64 concept of a third-person camera controlled by a weird little guy. You should be able to piss him off to make the camera handling worse. Get on his good side so he captures your good side.

Yeah the only spiritual successor I can think of is Sam punching the camera if you look at his groin too many times in Death Stranding
I think 2B and Kainé from Nier will react if you look up their skirts too much, and Skate frames the camera as a filmer following you and reacting to stuff you do, but they're not really interactive
