BUY INDIEPOCALYPSE

Usually in the leadup to a new issue of Indiepocalypse (Indiepocalypse being the monthly anthology of alternative games that I publish) I'll take to twitter to hype up the back catalog and zine in general. Because the games in those old issues are still great, people should still be playing them! I'm trying to generally fight against a heavy focus on "the new". (new indiepocalypse comes out this friday and the first friday of every month)

I'm trying to figure out how to migrate my promo from the site that was good for promo and I think for cohost that won't really change much. Largely because here I also post my most important back catalog writing, my themed features. So if you've got a chance (especially if you're new to following me) you should check out not only the Indiepocalypse starter guide but also the aforementioned features and the 10 pick lists! Honestly, I should probably start posting those 10 pick lists here as well.

There are over 400 games featured in Indiepocalypse so far and I think they're all worth playing but also that number is very daunting! Hopefully this sort of thing will help people get into exploring the back catalog and maybe find a new favorite game and/or dev. (or even just one they really like)

Cohost posts for previous features linked for convenience.
Indiepocalypse Double Feature: Full (and Stop) Motion Video Games
The IGF Nuovo Gang
Indiepocalypse Double Feature: Traversing Borrowed Worlds

also the issues are all currently on sale and go on sale every time itch has a sale but never cheaper than $10 an issue
