Even being in the US it's not practical for me to travel to game events and I can only imagine that impracticality increases outside the US. But, I like hanging out with other developers and artists. And that's what Indiepocalypse Radio is! It's sort of an interview show but largely the low-stakes post-event hangout I prefer with a little dash of pirate radio.

I have no grandiose notions about it. It's not a series of definitive interviews with devs nor is it some crucial networking (blech) opportunity that will get your foot in the door. But during this Laid Back Year of mine it's what I needed to remind me that I can just do something (like Indiepocalypse) because I enjoy doing it.

It spawned from my enjoyment of the regular non-archived streams of the Ambiguity Program, Trash Night, and well, radio (the live-only version didn't last long) as well as my own preference for guest(s)-of-the-week style podcasts. I suppose the core of my goal with Indiepocalypse is to make people more aware of these games and developers that I love and the radio show is another piece of this. I very specifically am not interested in creating a Community, but more just casual awareness and acquaintanceship. The kind of low investment relationship where you can say hi or casually chat at an event. I think that can be nice to have.

I dare not ever listen back to them, but have fun recording them so they must be at least kinda good? There's a whole 100+ episode archive you can listen to right now and the show is live on Saturdays at (usually) 2pm ET.

And this week's guest are
flan - Titanic II - Orchestra for Dying at Sea (Issue #16)
OXY- Collage Advertisement (Issue #41)

Please check it out and if you want to be on an episode I have a form or you can just message however you feel!

(subsequent announcements will not contain nearly this much preamble and will likely mostly just be me telling you about the guests)
