An 'egg' is slang for a suspected trans person who doesn't realize they're trans yet. partial realization is represented by cracks in a shell, and when someone realizes they're trans they 'hatch' from their egg. it's a recent thing, as far as i know.

True I just didn't realize that was being implied for Toyle. I've definitely used "egg moment" when talking about older experiences that led to me being trans
