The Trash Skipping Postulate is that skipping trash will cause more deaths and waste more time than not skipping it.

The Trash Skipping Corollary is that the amount of time that would be saved will be inversely proportional to the amount of time wasted dying to it.



After looking at the collection of racing games I've amassed over the past few years, Elite Dangerous, and now the hours I've spent soaring on my Dracthyr, I'm realizing it's ironic that I absolutely despise driving and the general process of traveling, but I absolutely LOVE traversal as a game mechanic.
