“Maelstrom” as he’s called, or Jakob, as his true name, is a bitter individual, with a black and white thinking. If you’re not his current objective, then you’ll be his next. He holds on to his vengeance, as it’s what’s keeping him together. But, he’s also been hurt by this emotion. Scars, and a lack of a right eyeball indicate reckless, or suicidal missions. I guess an eye for an eye is his motto. He lost his, and now it’s their turn
