In light of the recent news of Gumroad banning NSFW completely from it's platform as a result of being strong armed by Paypal and Stripe,
(who are engaging in blatant banking discrimination and censorship of artistic expression, by forbidding platforms from doing business with NSFW artists and SWs using their payment processors, despite having no legal precedent to do so)
...Cohost Staff might want to look into finding an alternative payment processor for their subscription service before Stripe comes for this place next.
In the meantime, we seriously need to overcome our discomfort regarding adult content and start getting loud and noisy about this slow, thinly-veiled-conservative push to sanitize the internet of sexual expression, being done so under the pretense of """protecting""" children from ill-defined boogeymen.
We also need to convince the people running places like vgen and itch.io to change to a safer payment processor since, while they do host adult content, as long as they're using paypal and stripe as their main means of payment, NSFW artist's livelihoods aren't safe there.
