Some of the design changes are nice and make sense but then other stuff is just weird. Like the game now constantly spawns temporary buff and debuff cards on the map??? It makes it feel so cluttered and I don't know, seems out of place?
The PSP version had buff cards but they would only sometimes drop when an enemy dies.
Those buffs are pretty significant too!!! And you can stack up to 4 of them!!! Like I think each card on my Rune Knight here added 40 damage to this attack. That's ridiculous. This changes the dynamic of battle completely and I don't like it.
The PSP Ogre Tactics had some design problems for sure but this feels unnecessary. I just wanted non-archer classes to get buffed a bit or have more utility that makes them as useful as archers.
