Stunt casting in video games is such a massive red flag for me. They always stunt cast camera actors and use their likeness as if that made it more like real cinema. Voice Acting is a very different skill from acting on camera. Whenever video game marketing boasts about getting a famous TV or movie actor who has never done voice acting, I can safely assume their performance is going to be mediocre at best. I am rarely proven wrong. It really speaks to misplaced priorities for me. Game development is complex enough as it is, you're not going to improve the quality of your game by hiring some famous name from popular netflix show who costs like 10 times what you pay your game designers. And I'm really not convinced there are that many people in the gaming audience who genuinely buy a game solely because the cover says Lance Henrikson is in it or whoever.
