It just occured to me right now. I'm pretty sure the text that says "50% of MP restored" between VR challenge rounds is wrong. It's very clearly not 50%. And I looked at videos of other people clearing these challenges. One of them was in french and the UI said 30% which feels right.

Maybe they do that to encourage you to cast more spells? One of those things where the game lies to you to get you to play a certain way
If other languages have the correct amount I'm pretty sure that's a just mistake. There's no other reason for that discrepancy.
