on the one hand every new experiment we do that provides even more proof that the standard model is correct is great because it confirms the validity of the standard model and confirms even more deeply that we understand many things correctly about the universe. on the other hand it's also deeply frustrating because we already KNOW it's WRONG can we PLEASE get to the new physics
