Today our payroll got back, just to inform me that the main payroll person for the company is still on vacay, and tl:dr, I'm fucked till next Friday, due to other people being gone as well/the timing of the holiday.
I got pissed and requested the paper check, I'm legally due after 2 business days of a fuckup like this (on day 6 mind), and I threaten to call the labor department to get it, and all my manager could say was, "I don't blame you if you do, but it's still gonna be next Friday." Fucking hell. Don't work for small outfits.
So yeah. I'm almost dead ass broke ($30) for another week plus (8 days). If there's anyway I could raise 200 for food, necessities and gas, I'd be semi ok until then. Bless and thank yall so much already, I know it's a huge ask, but it's where I'm at. Going to try and hit the food closet today, that should help if I can get anything.
