Vixen. Genie. Vixdjinn!

Hi! I'm Phorm, and I'm a Vixdjinn!

A Friendly Vixdjinn Says Hello!

I'm a genie girl, who really likes being a genie, and really likes everything about genies (really)! I'm a bit confused, lost, and trying to find my way, but I always enjoy interacting with folks here. (Trans🏳️‍⚧️, occasionally NSFW, Be 18+ or please be gone.)

It is late, and I should go to bed because of that whole work thing I have to do tomorrow. But I just fell down a peculiar coincidental rabbit hole, and had to share.

I was watching some old video game retailer-promotional videos in the background (like ya' do) when a particular song playing over some of the footage lit up my memories in a way I couldn't recall. Specifically at ~12:48 in the "Feel Everything" N64 promo.

And so I went digging. Eventually, I found that the music wasn't just used in THAT promo, but it was used in some actual honest to goodness games as well. I never played Test Drive Off-Road, but it uses the exact same track for some reason.

It turns out that the track is called "Metalhead" by artist Steve Everitt. And the reason that it struck my brain in such an odd way, and awakened some really deep memories? Not any video game, nor promo or ad thereof.

It's because that song was covered on Cartoon Planet by freaking Brak.

I think Brak's lyrics really add something to the composition.

Okay! I'm going to bed now.
