Vixen. Genie. Vixdjinn!

Hi! I'm Phorm, and I'm a Vixdjinn!

A Friendly Vixdjinn Says Hello!

I'm a genie girl, who really likes being a genie, and really likes everything about genies (really)! I'm a bit confused, lost, and trying to find my way, but I always enjoy interacting with folks here. (Trans🏳️‍⚧️, occasionally NSFW, Be 18+ or please be gone.)

a big part of being trans online is not relating to 90% of relatable trans posts & that's ok

Honestly, I feel this way all too often.

And it makes me pretty damned sad, I won't lie. Not only because of the way it instills self-doubt, but also because I just really, really want to be a part of a trans community.

But yeah, I've barely played Celeste, etc. And I see those sweeping generalizations all the time and think, "Oh no".

yeah i ain't a big fan of this either. the most relatable trans feeling is self-doubt imo and even then i know some people who are just like "fuck yeah i'm trans as hell"

there's no universal experience (to the dismay of myself, who wants to find a universal experience so i can point to it and say "that's me" but instead i have to define my own identity and gee golly that's a huge pain in my ass)

EDIT: oh but to be more positive, i feel like the more i am around people who are farther from the defined, most-trans experience, the more happy i am with my own messy, weird trans identity. cohost has been great for this personally because i've been expanding my view of transness, y'know?

anyway just kinda rambling now time to hit submit

What you say is deeply true - There is no universal experience. I think sometimes in my desperation for belonging and solidarity I forget that, but it's important to remember!

Also, I very much like and appreciate what you say about reveling in the messiness, embracing the varied experiences. And you're right, CoHost is great for that!

I very much appreciate your sharing ❤️
