Vixen. Genie. Vixdjinn!

Hi! I'm Phorm, and I'm a Vixdjinn!

A Friendly Vixdjinn Says Hello!

I'm a genie girl, who really likes being a genie, and really likes everything about genies (really)! I'm a bit confused, lost, and trying to find my way, but I always enjoy interacting with folks here. (Trans🏳️‍⚧️, occasionally NSFW, Be 18+ or please be gone.)

@jaidamack asked:

You've mentioned the state of your living arrangements a few times; is it possible for someone who isn't themselves a genie to visit, or are there various metaphysical and magical barriers to that sort of thing?

It is possible! It's also risky.

If you burn a wish, you can easily transverse between a genie's bottle and the outside world with ease. If you don't, however, it's going to be somewhat tricky.

See, a bottle isn't just a home for a genie, so much as it is a nexus of their energy. Simply put, it's a bit of a focal point for the transduction of desire from the physical world into magic. Bottles and lamps constantly convert desire into magical energy, and they need somewhere to put it. I'm oversimplifying here, but that magic flows into and is manipulated and deployed by the genie herself. So there's a bit of a symbiotic relationship going on here.

If a genie invites you into her vessel, you can absolutely come and go at her invitation. But you're going to be exposed to high levels of background genie magic that you've likely never felt before. And it could have an impact on you. It'll be slow, over time, but spend long enough in the bottle and it might start feeling a bit more comfortable in there than you'd expect.

Incidentally, this is why, if you find and open an empty genie bottle? Well. Congratulations on your new wardrobe, home, and occupation. We'll send you a union card ASAP!
