My sincere congratulations to both the PS5 and Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth for being the first console game I've ever played to interrupt gameplay with a crash and message asking "Would you like to send an error report?".
Bonus points for finding one of the most frustrating moments possible to spring that on me. Were there outside observers, they would've found it hilarious.
Oh nooooooo! D: The moment you said, "It wasn't a story beat" I knew it was a summon battle or optional boss battle U_U
It was heartbreaking in the moment ;.;
(But after I ate some lunch, I went back, de-dusted my PS5 to hopefully prevent overheating, and then actually beat the summon! So all's well that ends well, I hope!)
