Hi! I'm Phorm, and I'm a Vixdjinn!

I'm a genie girl, who really likes being a genie, and really likes everything about genies (really)! I'm a bit confused, lost, and trying to find my way, but I always enjoy interacting with folks here. (Trans🏳️⚧️, occasionally NSFW, Be 18+ or please be gone.)

As I read the parts where Remmington is being a creep, I inevitably inserted myself, and imagined that this would be a very different story if a character like Arial were in that world. "What makes you think there is anything within me to shame?" she might say. And in thinking that, I realized that, as much as I would love to reach in and help, that is not Arial's quest, he is not her adversary to overcome. Because while I may not think you have any reason to feel shame, shame is nevertheless very real to you, and you will have to vanquish it if you can; it's not mine to vanquish in my daydreams. I can help, but I can't usurp the task itself.
But yes, if it were just fun and games, I'd have Arial twist Andrew like a wet rag. <3 Your story is very effective. Thank you for sharing yourself.
I want to lead off by saying thank you. Not only just for this comment, but also that you would envision such a possibility. I'll say that you're more or less on the money about Remmington as it might come to Arial. Without getting too in the weeds, he has a very specific goal, and he might just find there's nothing of substance to be gained in conflict there (An echo of something like this will come up later). You're right about this conflict - And what it's going to entail. Particularly on Vect's behalf. How does one vanquish anything like that? I gather that's what's leading me to write all of this on some level.
All that being said: I'll also say that seeing Arial stomp a mudhole in Remmington would be a sheer delight. I'll perhaps also admit that I may have envisioned something similar on more than one occasion <3
Thank you, sincerely, for continuing to read my writing. It means a lot to me.
The splinter in the world... The mortifying ordeal.
Thank you for sharing this work with us.
Thank you for reading it ❤️
It's not pleasant, but it is necessary. And I appreciate your seeing it and commenting.
Weird that Remington seems to treat Vect like a person. An enemy, yes, but a person. These types don't tend to do that. And what could be so valuable to him that he'd leave her alive? Is he simply playing a game with her and the lives of her people?
Mmm less horrifying than his first appearance, but makes him seem like an impossible threat. Can this guy even be killed?
I'll say this much: Remmington says he wants something from Vect. And he very much does. The things he says to her are meant to goad and torment. He sees her less as a person, and more as a thing. A thing from which to extract something.
Is he playing a game? Perhaps. Or perhaps it's more one-sided than that. But regardless he's driving at something, and the fact that Vect doesn't comply frustrates him to no end.
"Can this guy even be killed" is a central focus, and tremendous problem, that runs throughout the entire story. I don't want to comment on the answer now, but I will say that this element is a critical part of understanding the character at a deeper level.
Hey, also, I just want to say: Thank you so much for reading everything you have, and thank you so much for your kind and engaging comments. I'm sorry if I've been spamming you with replies, but I'm just delighted. Thanks <3
And, uh... Sorry that it's all so morose and full of misery so far. I do promise there ought to be more joy in the future.
