Cleaning up some of my computer equipment, when I find the VR trackers that I haven't used in over a year at this point. I've been in and out of VR, but mostly to play Beat Saber and/or Walkabout Minigolf - Both of which don't make use of said trackers at all. In fact, so far as I am aware, there's only really one program that does allow you to use trackers.

I once again have to wonder if my refusal to log in to VRC is a stubborn decision on my part that does nothing but hurt me, or if it actually does increase my security in a meaningful and important way. I've rather lost the ability to calibrate the costs and benefits.

It has been over a year since I last logged in to VRChat. At that time I swore never to log in again, because I didn't/don't trust EAC. As well as other issues.

But damn if my resolve isn't cracking hard right now, even after a year.

I know it's a bad idea, and I will probably continue to hold out. But goddamn, that VR gender euphoria is powerful.
