I just stumbled upon a fairly recent discussion of VRChat, specifically vis-a-vis the "boycott" that surrounded the EAC rollout. Namely, someone was investigating login statistics, and said "Hey, wasn't there supposed to be some kind of boycott a while ago? Because I sure don't see one in the numbers, at all". The conclusion was that, predictably, people didn't actually stop using VRChat.
Guess I was the only one.
