Kotoko - Donder Time (Taiko no Tatsujin [2020])

Although I only heard this the previous year as I played Taiko no Tatsujin Pop Tap Beat, this was when I realized I might have a slight bias in favor of late 70s and early 80s pop music. Most certainly not a bad bias to have.

The synthesizers and echo-y drums really do make the song feel like it came straight from that time, just as intended. The concept for it is also stand-out-ish, as the lyrics apparently depict a “what-if the Taiko no Tatsujin arcade machine drumstick had feelings?” scenario
