Elon Musk's initial acquisition of Twitter (EDIT: this was due to legal troubles, he tried to wiggle out of it at first), rebranding it to X, changing everything that made it Twitter, and smoking anyone who disagrees with him is all a master plan to tell his daughter he hates her and considers her dead to him, "killed by the woke mind virus"

Unironically this man has a fucking problem, I don't see how any of this is healthy for him or for the internet as a whole

If you can move off of Twitter entirely, please do. If you're an artist that takes commissions, use Google Forms or Discord to take clients. If you have a big account, tell everyone that you're not gonna be using Twitter anymore. One less account using Twitter is another account Elon doesn't have dictatorship over

this is him trying to do historic revision, he never actually wanted to buy twitter, he joked about buying it but it was taken seriously and he tried to weasel out of it at every step. but in the end he was forced to buy it because of legal pressure, so he's made up a reason after the fact. he's butthurt he spent 44 billion dollars on a site that bleeds money so of course he would try anything to win points with the kind of shitty people he surrounds himself with

it had nothing to do with his daughter (he just made that up after the fact, no one mentioned her at all at the time of purchase) and everything to do with him being a fucking moron who didn't think people would take his offer seriously

that's why he spent so long complaining about the amount of bots on twitter before the purchase and literally does nothing about bots today, he tried to find an angle to weasel out of paying 44 billion back then.

everyone should absolutely get off twitter, it's a hellhole that platforms nazis and other garbage people, but at the same time don't let elon musk revise history with a made up story about why he bought it, he's just an actual idiot

The reason I left it in is because censoring it or leaving it out would kind of make the whole post meaningless since I'm altering or paraphrasing Elon's words; I don't condone deadnaming other people but I also don't condone rewriting history or changing the meaning of what someone says
