It won't become immediately apparent, as the earlier parts just seem like your typical friendly cartoon bounty hunter story, but it eventually starts reaching "game of all time" material with where the story goes, Cohost users would be all over that if they knew about it! The only notable blemish in it all, is a single uncomfortable gay stereotype character, but that's 1 out of over 100 unique NPCs, each either canine or feline with their own character designs, personalities, and occupations, it's a sight to behold with the sheer amount of sidequests and dialogue to piece together the Steampunk Fantasy world set in the France-based Shepherd Republic, that other Nintendo DS games could only wish to accomplish! Can't forget to show this animated opening either, it's an indicator of the production values and the over-a-decade development cycle this legend went through!
