Niche Games Enjoyer

Average person in their 20s. View Backloggd for my taste in games. I swear it's really good! And to clear up confusion, when I say "PMD", it always refers to "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon", which is another series I love!

Play Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Freedom Planet 2! And Solatorobo, and PMD: Gates to Infinity; those games have been shaping my preferences considerably!

SPOILERS FOR GAMES 2+ YEARS OLD!

That first link shown above, is where you can find the thousands of 3DS Pokemon Mystery Dungeon portraits I sorted with the help of Emmett Eon; very good stuff!

Truth and Reconciliation Suite [Warthog Run] (Halo: Combat Evolved, including the Halo Legends version [2001/2010])

[Will insert description here later; my apologies for not being able to finish this list in time without cutting corners a little]

(Length [Original]: 2.5+ minutes, [Legends]: Nearly 6 minutes)

Overture [Swift, Strong, Brave] (Halo Reach [2010])

This right here is the First-Person Shooter I played the most of back in the Xbox 360 days, plenty of silly yet intense online multiplayer matches and messing with the Forge mode and all. This part of Overture is “the shit”, it makes you feel like a cool hero who’s ready to face a world of unending adversity with full confidence, with its stellar use of repetition, Strings at center stage with how they take up the majority of the action, and the haunting Choirs late into the composition! It's a clear example of how to do Orchestral tracks properly; don't let the rich instrumentation carry the track for you, make sure its melodies are also engaging, at just the correct length too!

(Length: 1.5+ minutes)
