Doctor Strange (Marvel Vs. Capcom Infinite [2017])

A pleasant surprise, given Marvel’s forgettable orchestral crap lately, which in turn had an undeniably major influence on this game’s soundtrack, an unfortunate downgrade from what the previous game offered; this is a wonderful exception, where they made that approach actually work.

That Violin alone portrays someone with crucial responsibility, which fits Dr. Strange’s role. Then there’s the fact that it has more intense instrumentation for the second verse of the track onwards, to make sure the battle’s tension isn’t reduced when looping; really solid stuff here, imagine the entire soundtrack with this much care put into it, would’ve been quite the spectacle, don’tcha think?
