Niche Games Enjoyer

Average person in their 20s. View Backloggd for my taste in games. I swear it's really good! And to clear up confusion, when I say "PMD", it always refers to "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon", which is another series I love!

Play Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Freedom Planet 2! And Solatorobo, and PMD: Gates to Infinity; those games have been shaping my preferences considerably!

SPOILERS FOR GAMES 2+ YEARS OLD!

That first link shown above, is where you can find the thousands of 3DS Pokemon Mystery Dungeon portraits I sorted with the help of Emmett Eon; very good stuff!

Battle #1 (Lufia: The Legend Returns/Estpolis Denki: Yomigaeru Densetsu [2001])

Here marks the end of one lifetime experience, and the beginning of another! The finale of Lufia sure as heck deserves at least one good battle theme, and luckily it’s the most common one you’ll hear throughout the course of the whole game too!

Like with Day 40, there’s a “marching” feel in one of the sound channels, and I appreciate it just as much here, but moreso for an energetic adventurous feel to it, rather than the context of the enemy you’re fighting against.

It feels so refreshing to not be confined to the Twitter character limit when making these descriptions anymore, so expect longer descriptions to happen more often from now on, not just for the games I have a lot to talk about!

(Length before loop: 1.5+ minutes)

The Final Decisive Battle (Lufia & The Fortress of Doom; other versions [2001/2010])

Not battle, but classic buildup BGM, almost as if a battle is nearby in this list!

(Length before loop [Games]: 1+ minutes, [Arrange]: 1.5+ minutes)
