Garten of Banban has a really cool feeling to it, where everyone & everything involved in this world is Fucked. Like, the monsters are vaguely nice people, when you talk to them most of the time. Most of 'em are just little guys, or creatures undergoing problems. Opila Bird just wants to protect her Opila Babies. Toadster and Banban just want the people around them, Banban himself included, to stop being violent. Jumbo Josh is there.
But there's an emerging theme, that just, like. No. None of that's happening. You can want the stuff to get better, and the solutions can be easily visible. But. Nah. This deep archaic facility and the system of people who keep all the creatures here, won't let that happen. They intended for these solutions to happen sorta, I guess? But they don't really care about it. Everything's fucked and we're just gonna ignore it, we've got our own shit going on.
Guys I think these games might have a coherent thematic reading. Guys I think the crappy-lookin' unity mascot horror might be a horror game.
