Yeah! Took me a while to embrace this, would literally call myself just "a human in a dragon costume" compared to other therians. But someone compared it to me being trans, I'm not pretending to be a woman, I AM a women, so why was I insisting I'm just pretending to be a dragon? That woke me up and I've been a happy derg since.
Learning that yearning is being has been so important to me being more comfortable as myself.
