Giving a sneak preview before a playdate happens?

Though I guess I have written three stories about how my caretaker breaks minds. All of these sound like lots of fun, with the gentle lockpicking and brutal wall destruction being my favorites, in two very different directions. :3

A puppy slumps down in front of Mewtwo, very clearly suggestible.

"And we got this open; not a terribly difficult job for even a novice hypnotist. Let's bring it back up and try this one more time, just to make sure it's not a fluke..."

They could destroy you, easily, just like anyone and everyone else. It would be trivial for them to just snap and shatter all of your walls at once, like it's nothing.

But you... you're special, aren't you? A delicate little puppy. Something to cherish. And so they're gentle. Taking their time with your mind, treating it like a fun little game, even though it's so easy for them. They wouldn't want to break it after all...

Watching the puppy slump right over after only a moment of work, such easy access to all those fragile little thoughts inside. But they don't want to shatter anything, this is to be savored. Gently plucking out one in particular and setting it aside for safekeeping. It doesn't need that skill anymore. Carefully modifying another - it would be much cuter doing this instead.

And then the fragile little lock is closed back up with a click, and the puppy is awake again. Maybe it can't remember something it used to be able to do as an adult, or has some new mannerisms that it didn't used to have. Watching it, clueless to the changes, bringing a little joy to its caretaker like a happy little keepsake, before the cold, confident persona slides back in.

Speaking to Mewtwo's overwhelming power, or the pup's utter helplessness, awoo?

Really puts emphasis that the pup isn't a person, not to them. It's cherished property, a toy to be played with.

The way they just have complete control. They've probably done this countless times before. Give and take, catch, release, catch again. LOVE the idea of Mewtwo giving it new mannerisms though dkghslgjdk

But I also love how, vague you are? There's no names—just the puppy and its caretaker. There's no need, not when you describe each so well, not when you can let the reader fill in the gaps.

But like, that persona is like, a big part what defines Mewtwo. That care, that joy, the feelings they get from being relied on and loved so unconditionally, they can never really acknowledge it, certainly never show it. Little indulgences, sure, but the pup exists to fuel their ego—nothing more. (Which, fair, their ego does play a large part. But not entirely).

i have so many thoughts but i'm still struggling to word it and also trying to write between breaks at work i dont got enough time but like!!! im still insane over this fkdhflfj

It makes me really happy that something I wrote stuck in your head so well... just like the new thoughts Mewtwo gives you tend to stick in your head.~

They just know that the best place for you is as a keepsake, a little treasure to keep and play with, even if they never show the fulfillment it gives them. What matters is that you're doing your job well, being so helplessly dependent on them. You can't help but rely on them for everything. They made sure of that.

And so you sit there with an empty-headed smile on your muzzle and swirls in your eyes, oblivious to anything and everything but what your caretaker wants you to think. So weak. So helpless. So perfectly dependent.

It feels... good to be needed. To be loved and admired, rather than feared. Even if those thoughts were placed inside of their pet's head by them, it didn't change anything. That's what it was meant to think. What it's meant to be. Much better this way.

They could be feared by the whole world, able to bend it to their will at their whim.

But their puppy would always love them.
