Tonight i faced the challenge of Brayflox's Longstop, felling a dragon. Then I managed to revive a breed of grapevine long though extinct... and learned that these wild geese chases have all been to test me to see if I was cool enough to beat up Titan. Lovely.

I also learned of treasure hunting and glimpsed the true form of reality due to eating fancy folks food.

Yeah... Fine. I liked the dungeon at least and it's always a pleasure to play with my book club.

I love how sarcastic Y'shtola is about this whole dumb thing. We're on a strict time limit and they're making me fetch cheese. God damn!

Anyway, that got 3/4 of my jobs to level 40+ so it's not a loss at least.

Next Up: Unlocking Titan and getting more job quests done.

Good going! One thing to note from the dragon fight in Brayflox’s Longstop is the delayed AoEs that come from objects in the arena. The dragon gives you enough time to get out of the danger zone when the indicator appears. Future duties won’t give you that time. :/

These kinds of things don’t usually cause total party wipes immediately, but the game will expect you to notice where the AoEs came from and avoid the cue it showed you. I’m sometimes a slow learner of these things, and was even more so as a new player, so I had to repeat a later solo duty 3-4 times because I didn’t understand that the little flames all over the arena were going to turn into AoEs. I didn’t realize until much later that the Brayflox dragon fight could be seen as an intro to the mechanic that repeatedly killed me.
