I miss bartending and I love "street's open, come on in" vibes, but I used to bartend at a popular venue in Brooklyn that Santacon came through when that was a thing and good lord, nothing like having to cut someone off and kick them out to join their friend also dressed as santa puking in your planter box right outside the front door
It's probably the only "convention" I've ever seen where the hosting city was like "actually fuck that" and killed it straight out

we don't really have any space for conventions so first friday's really all we can do haha.
I love street festivals and my bar was once part of one, and though we were slammed, it was actually a bunch of fun. (I was not sober for the latter part of it, nor my boss)
unfortunately being in virginia all bars have to be restaurants first, so we can't get like that
