now that i’ve been in here more than two days, i think i can say with confidence my favorite thing is that i enjoy reading comments to posts. my time on twitter basically conditioned me to expect a bunch of reactionaries doing their best to imply slurs at people so they can’t get suspended while still being hateful worms. here it’s just, people actually want to engage with a post and it’s just delightful

people seem to be commenting more as time goes on and it's delightful
i think the new platform giddiness is cooling and people are wanting to be more normal again
