@MintyWyvern asked:

πŸ† for the artist ask thingy!

πŸ† I need you to humble brag, if you're an online artist - is there any social media's engagement you're proud to have achieved? Like waking up the next day and your art post goes viral and retweeted by [insert celebrity crush], something like that.

I'm using plush for this because my actual art hasn't gotten far (except like that 1HR salmon nigiri I painted I muted that I have no idea who retweeted that).

Honestly it's all a bunch of small accomplishments. I don't know, know any celebrities or care about them lmaooooooo. Mainly it's just like, lil acknowledgements of cool artists following me on twitter. I used to keep an eye on who followed me whenever I got a post popping off but now it's just noise honestly...

BUT UHHHHH I think someone ordered one of my bats to give to Ruby Rose(?), the batgirl actress? I think? Also James Stephanie Sterling ordered one of my bats to give their friend and that was fuckin ballin lemme tell you. But with so many bats sold over the decade I've got have had some hits haha. Since they're not my pattern I don't really feel any creative pride over that though, so I'm probably forgetting a lot.

OH YEAH, Harada retweeted one of my Valvatorez plushies!!!! I'm a proud member of the "got Disgaea fanart retweeted by Harada club"

Also my #1 favorite plush inspiration wants to comm me their ocs oh god I need to finally be mentally well to take that comm. Senpai thank you for your patience I'm a mess gomen gomen...

A bit of a downer but, it's generally hard to keep tracking of this stuff on twitter. Things just get lost in the sea and I feel I get a lot of follow backs just because I also have big enough number to be noticed... Like some people feel obligated to be mutuals because of it even though we've never interacted (and might not ever will because twitter is a hellscape and interacting there is PVP). It might of been because I was younger but it was more impactful to have someone follow or reblog you on tumblr that you admired since we didn't have numbers shoved in your face. You got Vibes of who was big but we were all just lads playing in a sandbox.... (I was also better at interacting with new people and making new friends then, the internet is a lot scarier now. Also years of self employment decays your social skills aaaaa)(I'm so grateful I've got to meet some cool artists via twitter too though!!! It hasn't all been for naught! I smooch u. Sorry I'm a mess!!!!)

I'll work hard to make more meaningful experiences when I get to making more original pieces. It's hard to feel a lot of pride when I'm just a bat factory most of the time.

EDIT: I FORGOT THE TIME A TWITTER SEX WORKER POSTED A PIC OF THEIR TRANS BAT ON THEIR BARE TITS. That's an all timer tiff achievement!!!
