You're showing the list that you weren't goofing off. Perfectly reasonable.
It's worth pointing out that that is a legitimate strategy for recognizing the things you've accomplished in a day, the fact that they weren't what you planned to do doesn't make them any less valid.
I.. do similar with my org-roam to-do list... Though, to be honest, it is a progress nonetheless. A thing was completed. And that's something. A step forward. Relevant or not, its a good thing.
