My game-y laptop is starting to die somewhat badly, but from looking into replacements apparently the 13/14th gen (2023/24) Intel CPUs destroy themselves over time.
There's barely anything made with AMD for some reason, so I'm having a hard time finding something worth the debt there.
Here's hoping she can hold on until her fifth birthday at least, it'll give some time to save
