We do not actually have all that much experience with VS, but it seems very cool and probably something we could really sink our teeth into
From what little we have played with a partner (where there was a lot of dying) we did get as far as starting to make pottery (which I am sure is not far at all, but it was an achivement for us nonetheless)
I think the more granular crafting system is pretty cool and really sets it apart a lot from minecraft, but especially a lot of the other "crafting" based survival games
It's mostly just been a case of waiting for either an opportunity to play with people on a server or just fining a good starting brain-itch to start on my own
