It's the best RPG that although I love it with all of my heart I can unfortunately never recommend it to people
Thankfully Bravely Second (mostly) averted that problem.
And sadly Bravely Default II was just boring.
That first line is how I feel about vanilla Final Fantasy IV these days ha.
it's time for me to ask the question, with no judgment intended: what do people see in that game? it's mechanically fine but the plot content, before, during, and after the Plot Twist, made it one of the two carts i've ever sold back to the shop
Admittedly I remember little of the plot so that's super legit. For me it was the whole package outside of anything to do with the plot or characters. The mechanics are good, the music is amazing, the art style is fun and it flows kinda alright overall.
