The last time I came home from visiting my partner in another country I posted some weepy shit about how being back in Nova Scotia was like a holding pattern, a purgatory of sorts.
No more.
Today I stand before you all with the declaration that as I just came home I now know that even though my heart is elsewhere, this place I'm in now isn't a waiting room. It's a training room. It's here that I can improve myself, work on both my future and our future. To carry on and set the plans in motion to make the big move, especially now that my immigration application has been received.
My empty apartment has become the waterfall under which I meditate.
