Growing up I used to read on the school bus and the like. But that was often not peaceful. Other kids wanting to know what I was reading or picking on me for it. I just wanted to read a book while I have this time y'know?
I enjoy handheld gaming. A lot. Even when I'm at home. Seems like a natural fit for the bus right? That just let to people asking me to take off my headphones to ask what I'm playing and trying to talk to me about it, or commenting on how far handheld gaming has come.
Phones though. So many people are on phones that they don't stand out. No one gives a shit that you're on your phone and won't strike up a conversation with you about it.
