Have you ever seen the opening sequence of the Happening where two girls are reading the same book in a park, at the same time. I think that's what it is
if someone invited me to a party where i'm expected to sit down, read a book and make no noise i would assume they hate me and this was an elaborate way of telling me to fuck off.
do they... discuss the chapter read afterwards? is it like a live book club?
i mean if not that still sounds valuable but i would have to imagine it's a very niche thing. idk why it would be big.
