If you want to use an asterisk (*) without it turning into italics, then you can use a backslash (\) in front of the asterisk to cancel it out! Using a backslash in front of any kind of markdown will make it show as normal, and this works in most socials that use markdown, like Discord and Telegram. So as an example:

  • If you type *shits cutely* you get shits cutely
  • If you type \*shits cutely\* you get *shits cutely*
