Shel's Review
OOF. This is the worst sounding one we've had so far. This was so bad I went back and added a point to Elementary, My Dear to show that this is so much worse. The children's choir is bad. The animation is fine. Pedagogically this is pretty bad, because every single equation is given separately with no catchy system that really helps you memorize it, and sometimes it's hard to even make out the answers because of the children's choir being so messy. Accuracy loses a point because the American buffalo did not go extinct and are now considered only "Near Threatened." This is minimal yikes here, probably the least yikes so far. If you don't count the grating children's chorus. I liked the zoo itself turning into a beast.

Music π΅
I appreciate them getting actual kids for this song! I don't appreciate the song itself. It's so much more concerned with it's own jokes than with teaching multiplication, and its jokes aren't very good. The song is just repetitive and once again has the problem of them thinking talking is the same as singing in a bad way. Alsom what's with the weird aside about 7??? 1/5.

Yeah, it's kinda fun, but I don't like it. The big zoo monster at the end freaked me out as a kid. I don't find it very funny. 2/5
Pedagogy π
I cannot imagine a kid watching this and remembering anything about the number 4 instead of the big fucked up zoo monster. 1/5
Accuracy π―π―π―π―π―
They said they're "goin" extinct, not that they were. which is fine, if a completely baffling turn of phrase, 5/5
Yikes Factor
I cannot think of anything yikes here except for that it isn't very good. 0/5
Next Up: Water in the desert. Some good fucking music at last will come.
