Puddles

Since a lot of stories are written by friends over in the US, the house I imagine is basically an amalgamation of images of US houses I've seen, both in art and in pictures. I've not lived in many houses with room layouts that match the descriptions in those stories uvu

That being said, I do constantly imagine that the lounge and kitchen are an open floor plan and that the couch is always blue for some reason

Most of the time it's an apartment my dad used to use for work, with any additional rooms/details pulled from media when the story demands. It's weird because I didn't stay there that often and another house I grew up in (and can remember) would fit way better but my mental picture of a house doesn't line up with those memories at all.

I imagine a single story white house with dark shingles in a verdant neighborhood. One large bedroom, one small bathroom, a large living room with a couch and tv, and an average kitchen. Maybe there's a little work space or a garage if it's relevant.
