I need to start doing it again, but the last few times Ive tried its been such a long and painful process it was kinda hitting dysphoria centers hard and would send me spiralling. I may have better luck now maybe, heck

Breaking it up into different sections that I rotate around every other day helped make it more manageable for me, but it won't cure the irritation, sadly. That just takes acclimation over a year or two of the process.

People underestimate how much a good shaving lotion/cream factors in, imo. Not sure what you'll prefer, buuuuut I've never found anything that compares to "Pure, by Gillete." Something about the consistency of the cream feels really good (plus it's got aloe and shea butter, two GOOD ingredients to help cut down in irritation afterwards, ofc.)

Maybe you know all that already, though, but if/when you try again, best of luck! It took years for my body to stop complaining about razers

I just use a bodygroom shaver for all my non-facial hair. No cream or anything really, but it's essentially trimming instead of shaving, so not overly necessary 😅
Sometimes I wish it was a bit closer or smoother, and some angles for my butt are hard to get at, but it's been the most hassle free!

I absolutely hate having facial and body hair, and it feels so wonderful to be smooth, but ughhhhh shaving is hard to do. I usually do my torso and privates every day and my face every other day, but arms and legs are hard for me to do consistently at all. Hopefully some day I'll be able to pursue something like laser hair removal.
