me trying to remember that just because someone is engaging with me around a subject doesn't necessarily mean they want to receive a detailed presentation of my complete opinion on other matter

Honestly, that's not the case for me. For real, if I see a friend is passionate about a subject, I want to hear their breathless and hour long explanation of it.
