as someone taking like 5000IE vitamin D daily, because my doctor was concerned because of bloodtests results, i could never.
congratulations!
thank you!
honestly i kind of wonder if supplementing would still be beneficial to me. have you found it effortful to supplement safely?
Not really, since I get my bloodwork done in 3-month intervals anyway so it was pretty easy to see how much was necessary. I guess that's a bit harder when you don't have that.
As per the method: I'm really really bad at doing stuff in long intervals (doing something every tuesday, or every second weekend, or similar), so over time I adjusted all my medicine (and supplements) to be taken daily, together, at the same time. So for Vitamin D it's just another pill in the mix. Didn't really add any effort here either I would say.
The only real effort for me is restocking. And for that I found pretty cheap containers of 400 pills on amazon for around 15€, so that lasts a long time and reduces that effort significantly. Didn't initially know if they were actually containing the things they say on the label, but the bloodwork looks good, so that's enough verification for me.
cool. thanks for sharing! not having regular bloodwork is definitely the barrier to me -- no continuous feedback on how my levels look
